Laurier... one last time

I know I always say how crappy Laurier is and how ghetto the school is, but after 4 years of sweat and sleepless nights (not ALL do to procrastination)... I think that I will really miss it. Sure, some buildings are old and run down and some professors were not that great... alot of them actually. But I still think that I had a great experience, especially all the people I have met. I would say that I'm a very different person than the one that stepped into the Peters building back in first year. Many things have changed... but I'm still me :) And to the Laurier people who read this... Thanks for making my experience a great one :D I have lots of great memories... bad ones too (bba admin office...ops2 final :S, etc) Thanks!!!

...anyways... enough of the nostalgia

Ok, so being the loser that I am, (I guess by indirect association that means you too Roberta) I took many pictures of Laurier in a final walk around of the school. We tried to 'discover' the hidden passage ways of school, tho I must say that every place that looked remotely mysterious or interesting was locked :( ... as expected of Laurier I guess. We walked around all the different faculty buildings and I must say that there is a different type of flavour from one building to the next. There strange music going on in the music building and it felt suspenseful. Plus all the music students kept staring at us, like they KNEW we didn't belong. My computer science friend once told me that when he stepped into our business building he felt completely alien and that everyone would turn around and stare at him as if they knew he was in a foreign place. So maybe that feeling isn't unique to the music building. I must say the music building/social work building looked really old and it was such a weird maze. And I was really impressed with upper floors of the Bricker Building (Arts and Math) ... These places I have never been to in 4 years and only venture on my last day. Kinda sad I guess, yet I don't really feel that I've missed out by not going to these building. I think I will miss Laurier... not the school work, but the people...

I'll post up some pics later
